At Tai Calon, we are incredibly proud of what we do. We are also decarbonising our homes, which links to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023 and Welsh Government’s plan to achieve net zero.  We are thrilled that Welsh Government has approved our recent Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) funding application for £1.3 million.

With almost 6,000 homes, we are the biggest provider of homes in Blaenau Gwent, and we are also a significant local employer with more than 280 people trained and dedicated to their jobs. Our vision is to go beyond affordable housing and create vibrant communities across Blaenau Gwent. We are an anchor organisation driven to keep achieving and delivering the best outcomes for our tenants; by 2025, over 90% of Tai Calon tenants will be satisfied, or very satisfied, with the overall service they receive from us.

You will be an empowering and collaborative strategic leader seeking their first or next Chief Executive role. With senior leadership experience gained within housing or a similarly complex and community-focused sector, you’ll bring to Tai Calon high levels of personal and professional credibility, engaging ambassadorial skills, and the tangible passion required to lead our high-performing teams.
